Terms of sale
What you are buying,in plain words.
Last updated 18 September 2026.
Who is selling
The person named on the legal notice. Contact: hello@thedancersdesk.com.
What is for sale, and what is not
The planners are digital files, delivered as downloads. Nothing physical is posted to you. The atlas, the resources, the packing checklist and the desk are free, are not products, and carry no purchase.
Prices and tax
Prices are shown in euros and include any VAT due. For digital products sold to consumers in the European Union, VAT is charged at the rate of the country you are in. If you buy through a payment provider acting as the seller of record, that provider handles the VAT and issues your receipt.
How you receive it
Immediately. Once payment is confirmed you get the download straight away, and by email. If a download fails, write to hello@thedancersdesk.com and you will be sent the file again. There is no charge for that, ever.
Your right to cancel, and how it works for a download
Buying online in the European Union normally gives you fourteen days to change your mind, without giving a reason.
Digital files are the exception, and only under strict conditions. Before you pay you are asked to tick a box agreeing to two things: that you want the download immediately, and that you understand you lose the right to cancel once it starts. If you do not tick it, your fourteen days remain and the file is not released until they pass or you agree.
That means once you have ticked the box and the download has begun, the sale is final. It is the only fair way to sell a file that cannot be returned, and it is why the box is a deliberate action rather than something buried in small print.
If something is wrong with the file
That is a different thing entirely and the right to cancel has nothing to do with it. If a planner is faulty, incomplete, will not open, or is not what the page described, you are entitled to have it put right or to get your money back. Write and say what happened. No argument.
Cancelling before the download
If you have not ticked the immediate access box, you can cancel within fourteen days by writing to hello@thedancersdesk.com, or by using the cancel button in your order confirmation. You will be refunded within fourteen days, by the same method you paid with.
What you may do with what you buy
Print it as many times as you like, for yourself. Use it for as many seasons as you like. What you may not do is resell it, share the file, or upload it anywhere others can get it. If you want to use it with a group of students, that is a studio licence, and you should write and ask: it exists and it is not expensive.
The free parts
The atlas, the resources and the desk are free and are provided as they are. The information in them is checked carefully and offered in good faith, but deadlines, directors and audition requirements change constantly. Confirm anything that matters on the company's own site. Your desk is stored in your own browser, so it is yours to keep and yours to lose: take an export if it matters to you.
Complaints
Write to hello@thedancersdesk.com. You will get a reply from a person. If that does not settle it, the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, vvtat.lt) handles consumer disputes out of court, and consumers elsewhere in the European Union can also go to the consumer authority in their own country.
Which law applies
Lithuanian law, and nothing in these terms takes away the consumer protections of the country you live in.
