Cookies

The short version
This site sets no cookies at all. Not for advertising, not for analytics, not for anything. That is why you have never seen a banner asking you to accept them, and it is deliberate.
What it uses instead
Your browser has a private notepad called local storage. It is different from a cookie in the way that matters: a cookie is sent to a server with every request you make, and local storage never leaves your device unless a page deliberately sends it. Nothing here sends it.
It is used for:
- Your desk. Everything you enter, so it is still there tomorrow.
- The prize wheel. Your code, and the fact that you have already had a turn.
- Small conveniences. Which CV layout you prefer, your best score on the pirouette game, whether you have already taken the packing checklist.
You can wipe all of it at any time from your browser's settings, without asking anyone. If you do, your desk goes with it, because there is no copy anywhere else.
The two outside services
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Google receives your IP address when a page loads, as it would for any file requested from another site. No cookie is set.
- Supabase stores an email address, but only if you type one into a form yourself. It is not contacted otherwise.
If that changes
Adding analytics one day is likely. If whatever is chosen sets cookies or tracks you, this page will change first and you will be asked properly before anything is set. The intention is to choose something that needs neither.
